Aidan Blum | Green Party of Canada

The time is now.

We need a bold, ambitious transformation of our economy, our politics, and our society, for the betterment of Alberta and of our planet.

About Aidan

As a born and raised Albertan, with familial roots in the oil and gas sector, agricultural sector and service industry, Aidan has understood the diverse needs of Albertans from a young age, watching his family benefit and hurt in the industries that drive Alberta. His education in social sciences at the University of Ottawa helped shape his perspectives on issues at all levels, including shaping his thoughts on the need for a Canadian Green New Deal for working people and a complete transformation on how Canada does politics. In order to create a fair and just future that is sustainable and healthy for all, Aidan wants to be the voice working people need for ambitious change. Aidan is prepared and ready to start being a leader for that change. He hopes to learn and listen to the needs of everyone in Banff—Airdrie, Alberta and across the country.

The transition to a sustainable future will need valuable insight and participation from workers and community leaders of all walks of life, and no one can be left behind if we are to be successful. Indigenous voices will be heard. Youth will be heard. Veterans will be heard. Seniors will be heard. All working people will be heard. Aidan is eager to listen, learn and grow during this campaign. People need better MPs, better representation and he wants to deliver for those people. It’s time to collaborate, and take care of our democracy, our planet, our most vulnerable and one another.

Aidan Blum is running to be the Green MP for Banff—Airdrie, and he is running for you.
